Worship With Us
All ARE WELCOME. Not long ago I was at a prayer breakfast and one of the ministers was wearing a shirt that read, “Perfect People Not Allowed.” As I pondered that phrase, I was quite humbled to think that Jesus never called those who “had it all together.” He called ALL to come to him, because none of us has it all together. He is the one who is perfect and gave His life as a ransom for those who would trust in Him. Therefore, it is our desire to come together and exalt Jesus, because of His amazing sacrifice…the perfect for the imperfect.
We believe that all of life is lived out as worship. When the the body of Christ comes together, it is a special time of exaltation as we honor and express our love to God. We do this through congregational singing, reading of scripture, prayer, partaking of the Lord’s Supper (communion), and the preaching of the Word. We also have Children’s Bible Hour during the time of preaching for ages 3 through 2nd grade.
It is our hope as you come to Rockwall & Brin that you are greeted warmly and feel welcome and accepted. If you have any questions about who we are or what we are about, please ask me, Geron (preaching minister), one of our elders (usually at one of the doors after service), or anyone around you. We look forward to seeing you Sunday.
