Where Do I Go When I Show Up?
We have one large parking lot on the West side of the building and additional parking along the North side You are welcome to park in either area and enter through any of the open doors. We have guest parking spaces in both areas for your convenience.
The majority of members and guests enter the building through the main doors on the west side. These doors will take you to our West Foyer. You will find a greeter at the door that can help with any questions you may have. You’ll also find coffee and donuts in the West Foyer on Sunday Mornings. If you come in one of our other entrances, the greeters will be happy to direct you to the coffee!
What to Expect
Worship
At about 10:00 am each Sunday, we gather in the Auditorium for a time of worship, communion and teaching. In this service we worship Acapella – using only our voices. It is truly a beautiful experience! We also share in the Lord’s Supper each Sunday. Everyone is invited to participate in worship and the Lord’s Supper.
During worship, children are with the their families but before the sermon each week, we dismiss our kids, (ages 3 – 2nd grade) for Children’s Bible Hour. You can read more about this below. After that age group has been dismissed, there is a sermon that is typically give by our preaching minister, Geron Bryan.
A Casual Atmosphere
We care about you, not what you’re wearing, so feel free to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable. Our dress code is simple: wear something. Come on in and sit wherever you’d like! We will not single you out publicly or ask you to say anything and we do not expect our guests to contribute financially.
You are, however, welcome to participate in the Lord’s Supper when the time comes to share that meal during worship.
A Fun, Safe Environment for Kids
Kids are important to us, so we’ve created a place where they can learn about Jesus on their level. Every Sunday, 3 year olds – 2nd grade children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.
This group will be dismissed for their special class before the sermon.
Chidren’s Bible Hour is led by adult volunteers that are background checked and involved memebers of our church family.
A Family That is Focused on Jesus
Part of the DNA at R&B is that we are a family. We try to talk about Jesus in the hallways as much as we do during worship and commit to care for one another and walk with each other through all that life brings.
We will never do this perfectly, but we will give our best effort. We are also working to pay attention to the work of God in our community and world and be a part of that in whatever way we can. We believe that we are better followers of Jesus as we journey through life with other people. We’d love to have you join us on the journey!
